Maintenance Announcement of Each Thursday

Dear players

In order to keep CoE running smoothly and to add new events that will run during the week, we will be having a weekly maintenance on Thursdays of each week from 02:00 to 04:00 EST / 06:00 to 08:00 UTC+1.

We will keep the maintenance as short as possible and do it at a time when there will be the least disruption to players. We will also do our best to notify players of the coming maintenance time so the players do have time to get ready for it.Thank you very much for your understanding and also your support of CoE. We enjoy having the players as part of our community.

can you give some notification server at the game with count down timer when its going maintenance

I am not sure if that system exists in the game but it does not always work as the servers are not taken off line at the stated time, they are taken offline when the word is given that the maintenance is ready to begin and in some cases its been 10-15 minutes out

May someone announce the maintence???? Is so dificult, at leats to do this?????

I play at european server, i am from europe, and the damn reset of game is at GMT +7 (GMT +9)....

We truy to play... WOWWWWW maintence...... again and again the same....

What change after maintence .... NOTHING.

Do the maintence like 5-6 hours earlier....

P.S. rename the europe servers to oceanic or amerika servers, because europe they didn't

Maintenance can only be done when the staff are available. While the games run 24/7, the staff do not work 24/7 so maintenance is set up to run when the techs are online and available.

Maintenance is to optimize the game, servers and load event information... A version update is different, that is when new content and game changes are added.

The servers are named based on the region of server and time zone.

I think i say the same about times zones.... check witch european countries have times zones GMT +7 TO +9, i think none. Why not announce the maintenance time???? I know you are alone....

I live in NZ so 2.00-4.00 AM US east time is actually 6 PM- 8PM my time ( I am 13 hours ahead of europe, 6 hours ahead of AMZ and 14 hours ahead of the US )

AMZ is in china and so 2.00 - 4.00 AM US east time is actually 2-4 PM their time ( AMZ is 12 hours ahead of the US and 6 hours ahead of europe )

Europe time for maintenance is about 6 PM or so for maintenance....

Remember that we have to deal with daylight savings time changes so the times may not be accurate..

China does not have Daylight savings but I do...it means that my time zone changes by 2 hours difference each year because of my time change and also the US east and Europe DST changes

If we were to run maintenance 6 hours earlier, it would mean that AMZ staff would have to go into work 4 hours earlier, but if anything goes wrong, we will not have the devs online and available for another 4 hours, maintenance would run at about 8 PM US east server time which would disrupt the US east servers and have them in here complaining rather than the european players.....

We made the decision to post the maintenance in the forums and to make it the same time each week, but yes we understand that players also want it advertised every week in the game because... I am not sure why to be honest..... but I do know from past experience in games when we have done that, that players have complained that we did not tell them maintenance was coming....

I can ask about a maintenance announcement message and see if it can be set to run each week but that may not be possible.....
