Niche specialization like this honestly makes a lot more sense now than trying to be a “full-service agency for everyone.” Contractors search differently, buy differently, and usually care about leads that turn into booked jobs fast — not vanity traffic.

For industries like HVAC or electrical, local intent and trust signals matter a ton. Ranking for broad keywords is one thing, but getting qualified calls from the right service areas is a completely different game. That’s where lead gen for construction companies becomes much more operational than just “doing SEO.”

One thing I’ve noticed from teams like SalesAR as well is that the strongest growth systems usually combine positioning + targeting + process consistency. Not just rankings alone. Especially in contractor markets where speed-to-response and lead quality often decide who actually wins the job.

Also smart move focusing on industry-specific pages instead of generic service pages. Google — and honestly buyers too — seem to respond much better to contextual expertise now.
