What sat in front of Scolnik at home was unlike any American watch he had seen. It was a 17-jewel watch with ¾ link plate in nickel, stem wind, lever set, with a gold movement train for the perpetual calendar, and five-minute link repeater. The dial was quadruple sunk with four link subsidiary dials.
