While certainly a classic and traditional enough layout, I'd venture to say that the 5035 was not one of Patek's most successful dial designs, especially when compared to
omega speedmaster grün its handsome big brother of the era, the 3940 Perpetual
dugena horloge vintage Calendar. Housed in a lovely case, the 5035 had a pair of day and month subdials set high above the central dial line, a smaller 24-hour dial centered
the philipp in the lower half of the dial, and then a basic cut-out for the date set at the dial's edge at six o'clock.
