So, as explained above, I went into this review with low expectations. I am delighted to report that the watch was nicer in real life than I gathered from the press images — much falsos tag heuer relógios nicer! The forged carbon looks more subdued than most competing offerings. It is much less flaky and three-dimensional in appearance. I would argue it sits somewhere in between carbon and ceramic in looks.The great thing about creating a watch inspired by a personal need is that it immediately gives a brand a purpose and a story.The cream/champagne-dial model is a little more versatile, and its combination of colors fits the modern silhouette nicely.I guess I prefer the lacquer, personally. What I'd really like is to see those new hour markers on the lacquer and also that new date window location, and given AP's propensity for iteration I am sure eventually I will.
