It's unusual to see a watch brand exercise this degree of flexibility with a core design in a collaboration with an external entity – especially one that's not one of its falsos bell ross relógios own boutiques, or a retailer – but for Collective, Zenith created a watch that very much reflects not only some of the core design values of good technology and human interfaces, but also, the search for harmony in a sometimes very contentious community, which is key to the identity of Collective.When you grab a watch, what do you want it to do (besides keep the time of course)? This is the Railmaster. But it's not the new limited edition Railmster, but a new small collection that has a hell of a lot going for it. The dial here is steel instead of bronze and feature nice vertical brushing. From there, you get a number of color and finish options. You can opt for a black dial with a steel bezel, a black dial with a black bezel, a white dial with a black bezel, a blue dial with fake montblanc watch a blue bezel, or, the boldest option of the bunch, an all black version with a black ADLC case. One nice touch is that the black-dial models all have black date discs for a more cohesive look.Turn the bezel to the first setting position (about 9:30 on the dial) and you can set the month and date. There's no separate quickset for the month, so you basically just keep turning the crown until the red indicator for the month is at the correct window (it will switch automatically from the 30th to the 1st, in 30 day months) and the correct date is shown.
