The crown of fausses Richard Mille rm 010 the Type 390 works in an interesting way as well. You don't pull it out for winding and setting – instead, you rotate it slightly to unlock it, and it pops out on its own, telescoping into position.I was surprised to see that I retained some muscle memory from using these tools eight or so months ago. The screwdrivers, which you operate by pressing down on the top with your index finger and spinning it with your thumb and middle finger, was hard for me last time, a new way of moving. This time my fingers were much more interested in taking directions from my brain.Inside the Model No. 2 is the manual-wind Sellita 510M. It's a cam-operated chronograph caliber with 63-hour power reserve beating at 4 Hz. Lorca has opted for what Sellita calls its special or elaboré standard, meaning it's regulated a bit more tightly than its standard (special is the second of four grades Sellita offers).
Must be a Type XX, I tell myself. He’s got an army of beautiful examples. Or maybe a gold calendar wristwatch from the middle of the century. Those are my favorite. No. What he brings back is a very strange tonneau-shaped stainless steel Breguet with a very simple black dial, baton hands Répliques Richard Mille montres and baton indexes. It screams 1970s. It doesn't scream "Breguet."This same line of thinking applies to the Roger Dubuis Hommage Condottieri from the mid-'90s that you see here, and yet it's also so much more. You can feel the difference when you pick it up, put it on, and flip through its plush box and papers. It's the snow-white enamel dial; the massive, reworked vintage pocket watch movement; hell, it's the box and oversized observatory certification papers that come with it.
Raw specs and accessories aside, the M60C's calling card is almost certainly its lume. From the bezel to the molded three-dimensional markers and the hands, Vertex only uses Super-LumiNova X1 material and the outcome is, well, glowing. fausses Richard Mille rm 005 For real, check the pocket shot below, that's in daylight, with a flash, and you can still see the lume glowing on the dark side of the dial.Caliber: Caliber 400Functions: Hours, minutes, seconds, date, 12-hour bidirectional bezelDiameter: 30mmThickness: 4.75mmPower Reserve: 120 hoursWinding: AutomaticFrequency: 4 Hz / 28,800 vphJewels: 24Chronometer Certified: N/A

Monta is using the Sellita SW link 330-2 inside the Noble Voyager, which means it's a caller GMT. As we discussed on Hodinkee Radio recently, there's been a boom in GMTs over the past couple of years, and the Noble Voyager joins a suddenly crowded market. And with more link brands link offering affordable – or at least accessible – flyer GMTs, it might make Monta's new GMT a bit of a tougher sell. But that doesn't change the fact that it's a good-looking and well-executed effort. link
