Underneath the caseback is the Oris caliber 732, which is an automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve, based on the Sellita SW 200-1. However, you'll notice a little button set into the case just above the onion-shaped crown. The movement has been modified to require that Breitling Superocean you push this button in order to set the time. Honestly, I feel like this would just be kind of annoying, practically speaking, but it was a feature of the 1917 watch and Oris has decided to keep it for this tribute.His second G-Shock is one that should look pretty familiar. This, of course, is the G-Shock Ref. 6900 by John Mayer HODINKEE Limited Edition from late last year. As you can see, Adam, like many of us, likes to collect in sets. He loves his vintage GMT, but that simply opened a link door link for him to need a modern GMT-Master as well. Though they are functionally and aesthetically similar, the aura around this watch is dramatically different than the vintage link piece. And again, within his collection, it makes sense to have both. link
