A watch with loads of functions also needs a proper dial (or screen) to make it work. On the Seamaster Regatta, we find an LCD with black markings on a white-gray background. The hands should remind you of the famous Seamaster 300M model, but they can also be cleared from the dial when in backlit mode to increase readability.A central hand points to the date set on a circular scale running Cartier Tank Francaise around the outer edge.I'd expect pricing to be a good bit north of the $117,000 list price of the current pink gold iteration and I certainly think this new salmon dial version feels the most special, and current, of the three offered models. If you happen to be in the market for a beautifully made grand complication with a salmon dial, get that line in the water as only a few of these fish will be released each year.
