So what exactly is frosted gold? This watch though, is notable. Why? Because this is the only known 1463 retailed and signed by none other than Cartier. In the spirit of my dad's Seiko I'd always wanted to have an heirloom to pass on to my kids. My family never really had something like that something that link was link passed down from generation to generation. I thought about it when I bought my GMT-Master even though I didn't yet link have kids.

The latticework link hands are the defining feature of the watch's aesthetic. They're an interesting exercise in geometry and design, and they're derived from a Sang Bleu tattoo design. The triangular motif appears throughout the tattoo work the studio in London has link done. Pushing the large hands link around the dial is Hublot's Unico HUB1240. link

While it's not perfectly legible, it's certainly good enough. And on top of that, it's a pure joy to look at. It's a watch made for a watch nerd – the kind of thing you want to un-buckle from the link wrist and just hold right up to your face … like centimeters away. That's where you link really come to appreciate the sandwich dial. I found myself just twirling it under the sunlight to see how different positions revealed link the various textures on the matte dial and aluminum bezel. link
