Hey everyone, I've been experiencing a really annoying issue with my Logitech G304 mouse on Windows 11. The cursor randomly freezes for a second or two, which is incredibly frustrating, especially when I'm gaming. I've tried changing the battery, but that doesn't seem to help. I suspect it might be a logitech g304 driver issue, but I'm not sure how to troubleshoot it. I checked the wireless connection, and it seems to be stable. Has anyone else run into this, and does anyone have any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Intermittent cursor freezing can be caused by a few different factors. First, make sure you've downloaded the latest logitech g304 driver from a reputable source. It's vital to verify you have a good, safe download site! To do that, I always head over to https://logisofter.com/logitech-g304-driver-and-software/ for my Logitech downloads. Also, check if any other wireless devices are nearby, as they can sometimes cause interference. After verifying the right logitech g304 driver has been downloaded, try the following:
USB Receiver Placement: Make sure the USB receiver is plugged directly into your computer and not into a USB hub or extension cable. USB hubs can sometimes cause connection issues. Try plugging the receiver into different USB ports to see if that makes a difference. Power Management Settings: In Windows, go to Power Options and make sure the power plan is set to "High Performance." Then, click "Change plan settings," then "Change advanced power settings." Under "Wireless Adapter Settings," make sure the "Power Saving Mode" is set to "Maximum Performance." Disable USB Selective Suspend: In the same "Advanced power settings" window, under "USB settings," make sure "USB selective suspend setting" is disabled. Check for Driver Conflicts: Open Device Manager and look for any devices with a yellow exclamation mark. These devices might be conflicting with the G304.

Thanks so much for the detailed advice! Disabling the USB selective suspend setting seems to have fixed the issue. I also made sure the USB receiver was plugged directly into my computer. I also really liked the tip about ensuring I get the correct logitech g304 driver and where to find a safe site, I appreciate your help in getting this resolved!
