The Pilot Chronograph is an already fairly simple design that puts at-a-glance legibility ahead of other considerations. What this watch does is pare link it back to what is essential about the IWC link Pilot watch: its stark black dial with crisp white information in a format that longtime watch enthusiasts on HODINKEE know well. link It's not groundbreaking stuff, but it's the kind of watch that made IWC popular with many enthusiasts in the first place. I'll always have wrist time for a watch like this one. link
