Bulgari is certainly not the first watch brand to collaborate directly with artists, but as an emotion-amplifying add-on, the concept and execution are cool and absolutely a value add for the right customer. The offering of the artwork forms an additional connection to the product, and the entire package feels borne of replika montblanc zegarki the brand's deep sense of style, creativity, and general mindshare among their clients (not unlike that first Bulgari Roma shown above).Brand: Glashütte OriginalModel: SeaQ ChronographReference Number: 1-37-23-02-81-33 (rubber strap); 1-37-23-02-81-34 (grey fabric strap); 1-37-23-02-81-36 (blue fabric strap); 1-37-23-02-81-70 (steel bracelet)Diameter: 43.2mmCase Material: Stainless steelDial Color: BlueIndexes: AppliedLume: Yes, Super-LumiNovaWater Resistance: 300 metersStrap/Bracelet: Rubber strap, fabric strap, or stainless steel braceletNow, in this fantasy world, I finally have my chance to own one – and with apologies to my Shop colleagues I'm going to skip over the strap version and splash out for the one with the bracelet and the automatic movement, why the hell not. Cost: $20,000. Remaining: $80,000.The revived Daniel Roth is introducing the next version of its Tourbillon, now in rose gold. Fresh off last year's Tourbillon Souscription, a few updates in line with the historical evolution of the tourbillon have been made, but this year's edition is largely similar, just with a rose gold case and dial.
So it is with the Histoire de Tourbillon 10. Now, it's tempting to judge watches by a single standard and it's extremely tempting to make that single standard one's own personal tastes, but the Histoire de Tourbillon is both a watch, and only incidentally a watch (a phenomenon that brands which simply follow this to its natural conclusion by omitting hands falske jaeger-lecoultre ure altogether, or making the watch unreadable under any circumstances, clearly understand).A certain fascination with retro-futurism and gadgetry is largely what got me into watches in the first place. I say “retro-futurism” because I wasn’t around during the time of the original Hamilton Pulsar. To me, it’s an object– a watch –that embodies the sort of excitement and anticipation of the way in which science could lead society forward into a new era of enlightenment. One detail the Vacheron does get right is the moonphase. While it's a vibrant, dark blue just like the AP, look closer and you'll notice it's something better: lapis lazuli. It's one of those beautiful details you only pick up on after you've admired the watch on your wrist for a few minutes and gotten past the skeletonization of it all. While there are a number of sizes, the large 7661 and 8131 are by far the most collectible. Since they're all gold, the watches have a lot of presence, but they actually wear quite small by modern standards.
If you want to go through and actually place a six-figure bid, you have to verify that you have the cash on hand to support the bid, and that includes a phone call and filling out some forms. The watch sat at the $99,999 max for quite a while leading up to the auction closing – my guess is that quite a few people thought they would swoop in at the last minute, only to be foiled by this safeguard. This reissue of the Siffert Autavia dating from the early 2000s is one of several replica zenith horloges watches from Heuer/TAG Heuer that Andretti owns and wears. When I told him that this watch was a heritage reissue of a similar piece worn by his contemporary Jo Siffert, the Swiss Formula One driver, Andretti was surprised. He remembers Siffert well, and seems to have enjoyed wearing this watch over the years, but hadn't connected the two. While I'd argue that the current industry methodology of establishing water resistance is due for an overhaul, I would love to see this same test applied to a roster of respected true dive watches from brands like Seiko, Rolex, Omega, and more. Be sure to let us know in the comments what watch you'd like to see under pressure. Oh, and if you happen to have an HPC Deep Sea Chamber that I could borrow, do get in touch.Image source: Beyond The Press (YouTube). Here's a watch that's more than what it seems on the surface. If you just looked at it, you'd think this is a relatively standard, small 32mm center-second Calatrava with a nicely patinated dial. Flat bezel, faceted indices, dauphine hands – all of the design is characteristic of 1950s Patek. And you'd be right. But if you pick it up, it's got a bit of heft, so it's certainly no steel Patek. Then you flip it over and realize you're holding something special.

It's a certain kind of flex to wear a solid gold TAG Heuer Aquaracer, but I think link these two models are good-looking enough that I might consider such a flex. I have tons of link questions about the look, feel, and heft of the gold that I will answer for you from the TAG Heuer booth at W&W link in Geneva. Talk to you soon. link
