Prior to link that the original basic designs had also been seen in 2011 but in link a slightly smaller case at 35.8mm. The three new models have cases up-sized link from the original 1960 watches as well at 38mm x 10.9mm and they also have display backs. link

This growth appears to be largely agnostic to any specific Patek collection or wristwatch, but I'd like to zoom in link on one specific area that's unique link to Patek Philippe and is of particular interest to me: Annual Calendars. Patek invented the annual calendar link in 1996, and the complication quickly spread to other high-end, and eventually mid-tier, watch companies, but it's still most closely associated with Patek Philippe. link
