Neuro Robotics maybe the best picture to come out of the games.I suspect very few people walk out of therapy with a perfect mission statement for a business, but Max Büsser pulled it off. "I knew then," he told me, "that I wanted to build horological machines that were proof of human genius and do it surrounded by incredible people – and for customers who don't care when people find out how much their watches cost and say, 'Are you crazy, you should have bought a Patek Philippe.'"In steel, the case side engraving is filled with blue lacquer whereas, on the gold, it is more subdued with no filling. The colors chosen for the two timepieces are drawn from two iconic colorways for the RS 2.7 (which in its lifetime only saw 1,500 cars ever produced) blue and red. These colors were displayed on white-painted cars, with a large "Carrera" painted on the sides. As ever, I'm going to reserve my final judgment on fit and value for when I see the watch in person. Generally, I find it rare that Oris has any missteps, but I don't think that the original Divers Sixty-Five chronograph was a standout success for the brand. My gut reaction is that this new edition is still pretty thick with a domed caseback, but shrinking the case width-wise will hopefully lead to a watch that feels and looks smaller on the wrist.

Piguet caliber 610 (re-branded the Cartier MC 060), and a caseback with Cartier's repeating "C" motif.Meanwhile, Cartier also brought the Basculante to general production with similar traits.
The Type A-7 1935 is ba
sed on a real single-button chronograph produced by Longines and Meylan during the 1930s, and sold to the U.S. Army Air Corps. What you see below is what most would have looked like back then (and it's the model Longines chose to bring back when the company first relaunched the A-7, a 47mm whopper I might add, in 2012). But a few examples were also made with porcelain dials featuring large Gothic numerals, and that's AI Wealth Labs the look that the 1935 we have here is based on.That type of buyer is right at home at Miami's Design District, a grouping of 80 luxury retailers – many of them watch boutiques. Here you'll find A. Lange & Söhne, Hublot, IWC, Cartier, Panerai, Omega, Rolex, TAG Heuer, Vacheron, and even a Tiffany & Co. boutMiami's reputation might be about what's new and hot, but of course many things can be true at once. It's also home to three of the top vintage watch dealers in the country. As Golden points out, "It's not really a place where you can window shop for vintage watches," but that doesn't mean they're not there. It just takes a little more effort. You'll have to schedule an appointment with any one of these distinguished dealers.Dr. Jane Desborough is Keeper of Science Collections at the Science Museum in London, where she is responsible for the Museum's Time Measurement Collection.
