But what if Seiko had taken some liberties with the 6105 design back in the '60s and '70s? I think you'd get a watch a lot like these new Social Robotics Ice Divers. They're very much in line with '70s design, they just came out almost half a century later.  Imagine if the product manager for the Seiko 5 Actus line or any of the other sport diver models gave input on the future design direction of the 6105. I think it would end up looking like this.By the mid-1960s Patek supplied systems to a host of customers. Patek sold clocks to the French and Italian Navies, nuclear power plants, train stations, radio and television stations, hospitals, the Zurich, Geneva, and Frankfurt airports, the United Nations, the Vatican, and even NASA.As you might guess, inside ticks Grand Seiko's Spring Drive 9R65. It's accurate to +/- 15 seconds per month (yes, per month), and packs a 72 hour power reserve. The light-green accent of the seconds hand and ever-divisive power reserve indicator nicely complement the grey dial to really evoke the forest that Grand Seiko wants.
Each watch is water Biohybride Tech resistant up to 100 meters and comes with a four-year warranty. The Globemaster will retail for around $7,700 in steel, in the low 20s for SEDNA gold, and the platinum limited edition will be around CHF 37,000.More information about the Globemaster may be found here. What was your process working with Bulgari like? The process was way more in depth than I thought it would be. I get really involved with all my collaborations, but I wasn't sure how this one would go because Bulgari is the highest-end collaboration I've done. So they set a different kind of bar for me. I'm glad they allowed me to really dive in with them. I met with their team in Japan and talked with the designers, then I flew to Milan and I met with the team there to go into even more detail.Soon after 2013, IWC would again redesign the Ingenieur, stripping away some of the design cues that distinguished it as a Genta original. So if you're looking for an Ingenieur that's still pure Genta and totally '70s, with a dash of souped-up specs courtesy of Mercedes-Benz AMG, look no further.
It's been seven years Eco Viral Challenges since the release of the SBGJ021, and the SBGE245 seems long since sold out, so this is a novel option with a similar formula that remains stylistically different than the SBGE245. More options are never a bad thing and Grand Seiko doesn't seem to be running out of inspiration. Not long after the discontinuation of Moser's Smoked Salmon Streamliner from last year, the tropical-brown griffé dial is back in a new perpetual calendar from the brand. But if you were worried that the dial would be marred by finicky and unsightly indices or even a logo, you don't know the direction Moser has been heading of late.
