The manufacturing process comes from Italy; glass is heated until it's molten hot, and then it's infused with small particles of copper. Microscopic crystals are formed, and the copper-infused blue glass is applied to the solid silver dial. The gallery notes on the materials that make up the piece are "flip-discs, software, camera, computer."
