
To finish up, I'll admit I haven't been on RuneScape gold because 2012 when my account had been hacked. I dropped about 1.5 billion in money and items... never got back anything nor was my account restored. I told Jagex give me back what I earned or you lost my cash for more members play indefinitely... they never said a peep via e-mail so that was that.
I finished my membership out time, converted into F2P for a brief time then found another sport to spend my money on. I eventually did find out what happened to my account though... it was the great Yahoo hack of a couple years back - that is how the hackers obtained my info.
They all needed to do is log on to some given Yahoo accounts and check for signs of an RS accounts and take advantage of it if something useful was buy OSRS gold. That is EXACTLY the way I lost almost everything I'd taken years to earn... and it's why Jagex lost a loyal client. NO. It wasn't... but the least they could have done was restore my account since it was not my fault . End result? They couldn't even return an e-mail.
That does seem about right though... doesn't it? They appear to be running bad company yet again years later in more ways than one and the player benefits nothing either way.
