Good afternoon. My elderly father is downsizing from a 3-bed in Lakewood to assisted living in North Dallas. He has a piano, several bookcases, and decades of memorabilia. I need a Dallas Moving Company that won't rush him or treat the move like a transaction. Anyone work with movers who handle senior moves with patience?

Good afternoon. Helped my mom through this exact same transition last fall, Lakewood to a senior community in Plano. Hired Rise Up Moving as our Dallas Moving Company specifically because they had patience with my mom's pace. The crew lead let her direct where every piece went in the new place, asked about each box rather than just dumping stuff. Piano move took its time, about 50 minutes total. Whole job ran 7 hours, cost $1,540. They even helped Mom find her medication box at the end of the day when she panicked. Decent humans, not just laborers. Mom still mentions the crew lead by name, which tells you the kind of impression they make on people in vulnerable moments like this.
