Dealer vs independent for BMW in Abu Dhabi – is the price difference worth it?

I just got a quote from the dealership for a regular oil service plus brake fluid flush on my 2017 X3, and it was nearly 2500 dirhams which seems insane for what feels like an hour of work. I've seen a few independent shops advertising online that claim to use genuine parts and the same diagnostic equipment, but I'm hesitant because I had a bad experience with a non specialist on my previous car. I'm trying to find out if proper BMW Service Specialists Abu Dhabi can actually match the dealer's quality for routine maintenance, or if I'm just asking for trouble by leaving the official network. Has anyone here made the switch and regretted it, or is the dealer really just charging for the fancy waiting area? I don't mind paying for expertise but I hate paying for branding. Would love to hear real pros and cons from people who've tried both.
