I’m about to apply for my learner’s permit in California and I know I need driver’s ed first. The problem is that there are tons of programs online and it’s hard to tell which ones are legit. I just want something simple, approved by the DMV, and actually helpful for a beginner driver.

I choosing the courses from NextDoorDriving and it worked out really well. They offer California DMV-approved driver’s education designed for first-time learner’s permit and driver’s license applicants. The lessons explain traffic laws, safety rules, and real situations new drivers face on the road, so it feels practical instead of confusing. Another thing I liked is that after finishing the program, the completion certificate is delivered for free. If you’re starting out in California and want drivers ed done right, this program is a straightforward and reliable way to get ready for your permit.
