Can anyone recommend a decent beginner's guide to futures trading on Bybit?

I recently became interested in crypto trading and noticed that many people trade futures on Bybit. However, when I started looking for information, I realized there are quite a few different settings, such as leverage, margin, order types, and long/short positions. Is there a good, step-by-step beginner's guide that explains how it all works and how to open your first trade without taking on unnecessary risk? Has anyone been through this before and can recommend some good resources?

I was in a very similar situation. When I first opened the Bybit interface, I was honestly a little confused. There are a lot of parameters, and it's easy to make a mistake. What helped me the most at the beginning was reading step-by-step guides while looking at the exchange interface. For example, iTrusty has a good crypto futures trading guide that explains the basics, such as how to choose a trading pair, set leverage, and manage risk. I advise starting with small amounts and using no more than 5x to 10x leverage because futures can quickly liquidate a position when prices move sharply. On exchanges such as Bybit, traders can open positions with high leverage - sometimes up to 100x - but that is very risky.
