There is a fascinating trend of giving kittens "vintage" human names like Arthur or Eleanor. Personally, I find that assigning a dignified, old-fashioned name to a young cat adds a layer of humor and unique personality that traditional pet names often lack. 

I am currently looking for a vintage name for a very serious-looking British Shorthair kitten. While I have encountered many cute cat names that lean into this "old soul" aesthetic, I am finding it difficult to choose one that isn't too eccentric.
