I recently bought a Wavlink extender and I’m trying to complete the wavlink ac1200 setup, but I’m a bit confused about the login steps and which mode I should select. I want to extend my home WiFi to the second floor where the signal is weak.

I connected to the default network and opened the setup page, but I’m not sure if I should use repeater mode or access point mode. Has anyone here set this device up before? Any tips on placement or common mistakes to avoid would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!
