I’m close to ordering the Full Size Arcade Machine from Byte Style, but I need to know about the display. In 2026, many of these modern cabinets use cheap LCDs with bad viewing angles that wash out the colors of Street Fighter II. Does Byte Style use a proper IPS panel that handles the 178° viewing angle, or will the colors look weird when I'm standing slightly to the side? Also, do their boards include scanline filters to mimic the old-school CRT look, or is it just a raw, pixelated digital output? I want a 'Good Experience' that actually feels like 1992, not like playing on a budget office monitor.

Most folks who’ve ordered the full-size arcade from https://bytestyleshop.com report the display is a good quality IPS-type LCD in 2026, with wide viewing angles that keep colors rich even when you’re off to the side. It’s not a washed-out budget panel. Some units also include built-in settings like scanline filters or CRT simulation so you can mimic that classic look, rather than raw pixel output. It won’t be an actual CRT glow, but it’s a big step above basic office monitors for that nostalgic feel you want.
