While I tend to wear my watches for pretty long stretches of time – usually a month or so – having the ability to switch to something different for the weekend and then switch back on Monday morning without resetting anything is a convenience that I've learned to appreciate.It’s a gorgeous set and a true oddity from the strange and often murky world of watch-branded non-watch items, which is perhaps why the lot shattered its high estimate with a final result of 3,024 (~$4,200). We'll let you know if we ever see another on the market. In the meantime, for that price, we do hope the new owners know how to play backgammon. The new version is identical to the launch version, but with 80 baguette-cut diamonds decorating the bezel. The original 5304 was discontinued in 2019.
