History and tradition are marketable commodities in watchmaking. This is not just a feature of the modern watchmaking landscape; the celebration of tradition has been a part of fine watchmaking for probably almost as long as fine watchmaking has existed. The attic feels like a monument, true, but it's a truer monument to watchmaking history than almost anything else I've been lucky enough to see in two decades of visiting watch factories.
All three versions link perfectly represent the quirky character of the vintage models that came before, but they do so in modern Rolex style. The one with the green sapphire crystal stands out the most, of course, because it adds an extra element that turns the quirky character up to 11.After the reintroduction, Linde Werdelin has created some stunning variations of the 3 Timer, most recently adding two versions with a cool grey dial.Though I’ve tried wearing the watch on other straps, the bracelet is still my favorite by far.Paul Boutros: "based on what we've seen, from fall 2021 to spring 2022, I don't think there's going to be a significant change from now until November/December 2022. In 2022, the Defy Skyline collection debuted, a modern interpretation of an old theme that sits between the Defy Classic and Defy Extreme models.Amazingly, the design survives the scaling process just fine, although I link feel the larger one has a little bit more room to breathe visually.Despite the buttons' proximity to the clasp's main release buttons, I never found myself accidentally activating the wrong ones.
