Limited to 125 pieces in white gold, this Datograph is meant as a special creation for Lange collectors. As such, and just as is the case with the currently listed Datograph Up/Downs on Lange's website, no pricing information is publicly available. I asked Lange, and they suggested that
link interested parties should contact their dealer of choice for more information.Like both previous watches, this one features the 9S85 high-beat automatic movement with a three o'clock date. It is housed in a 40mm by 13.3mm stainless steel case, so it is a bit more balanced than the first Wako piece. But the star, as is often the case with Grand Seiko, is the dial.Seiko now lists the case dimensions as 40mm wide, 13mm thick, and 46.6mm lug to lug. When I measured with my own calipers, I got 40.2 x 13.4 x 46.6mm. The lugs remained drilled (amazing) and fit the bracelet's 20mm end links. The caseback remains a closed steel format, but thanks to a new design, water resistance is now 300 meters (compared to the 200m offered by the previous generation).
While awaiting the release of No Time To Die in April 2020, Omega, which has adorned the famous MI6
link spy's wrist since 1995, proposes a collector's set just for fans. The sunburst effect on the gold one seems more pronounced, while the purple dial seems to have a slightly matte finish on top of its sunburst brushing. My Fratello colleague Gerard came out of the presentation telling us about the special movement.Overall, these elements come together to create a watch that serves as a clear reminder of the NASA-tested Speedmaster while possessing its own distinct character. While the Speedmaster gained fame as the watch worn during lunar missions, this particular model was originally intended for the race tracks of Le Mans. Nevertheless, one can't help but imagine that the astronauts would have been just as pleased to wear this remarkable timepiece on their space missions.
The Submariner was part of the first wave of dive watches (as we know them
link today) in the early 1950s.The cheeky swap and single register win by sheer audacity alone, and I'd happily rock this watch. For the sixth running of the multi-colored show, Rare Shades 6 came to the beautiful grounds of Toronto, Canada's Aga Khan Museum this past Saturday. With the sprawling front lawn and its many reflecting pools beset by all manner of Porsches, mostly 911s, the crowds showed up early and there was no shortage of great watches on display. Porsches, watches, and cameras – my kind of Saturday. Oh, and be sure to make it to the bottom of the page fWe'll end this on a hWe'll end this on a high note with a 1976 911 Turbo in "Dark Blue" that was bought new by its current owner and has done more than 1,300,000 KMs – or about 807,000 miles. I made sure to snap a few extra shots of this very special and well-loved Porsche.
