I’ve been trying to figure out what Hypertrad actually is, and honestly I’m still not 100% sure. Some platforms clearly state whether they’re an exchange, a trading terminal, or just a DeFi tool for swapping tokens. With Hypertrad, the lines seem a bit blurred. Is it correct to think of it as a decentralized trading platform rather than a simple exchange for money? I’d appreciate clarification from someone who has actually explored it.

That confusion is pretty common, and it comes from the fact that Hypertrad combines several concepts. It’s not a traditional exchange and not a basic swap service either. The platform is designed around decentralized trading, using hyperliquid-style liquidity to support more advanced trading actions. While you do interact with assets directly, the core idea is trading rather than just exchanging one token for another.
