Hey folks, I’m planning a weekend getaway from Brooklyn to Montauk and I’d rather not deal with the LIRR again. Last time there were delays and it totally ruined our schedule. Anyone found a smooth and punctual way to get there that doesn’t involve public transportation headaches?

Trains can be unreliable, especially on weekends. Definitely worth exploring alternatives.

For our last trip out east, we wanted to avoid the train chaos too. We ended up booking a private car through https://ewlimo.com/brooklyn-to-montauk-luxury-car-service/ Brooklyn to Montauk, and honestly, it changed the whole vibe of the trip. Having a professional driver, clean vehicle, and no rush really set the tone for the weekend. The driver even helped us plan some stops along the way, which made the ride feel more like part of the experience. It's more expensive than the train, sure, but the comfort and reliability made it worth every dollar. If you're traveling with a group or for a special occasion, I’d say it’s the way to go.

Yes, the Tuna Can link has a link screw-down link crown and features an L-shaped crystal gasket, but it employs a traditional screw-in case back in lieu of the monocoque (front-loading) design found on high-depth Tunas. link
