6061 T6 Aluminum is a heat treatable 6000 series aluminum alloy containing the main alloying elements magnesium and silicon. Young's Modulus is a mathematical concept that describes the relationship between two variables.
Aluminum has a Young's modulus of elasticity of 10 million pounds per square inch when it is heated to 70 degrees Fahrenheit (psi).
