This seems really cool! Though I am a bit unsure about cosmetics carrying over to RuneScape if they're only obtainable if you achieve a'high score in the leagues'. For alot of players that this is out of reach, and I would hate to see people missing out. I hope everyone has a chance to
RuneScape gold obtain these benefits in RuneScape. Aside from that, I'm interested! The makeup we offer in RuneScape will be detailed in a future blog, but I'm expecting them to be tradeable. This means players who don't wish to participant leagues may purchase them.
Please read the comments. I really don't care how difficult it is for ironmen. I am not talking about catering to a market. I am making sure no one-time uniques are created because (1) stopped rares are not good for the market, (2) it hurts completionists and now every item is really accessible on new accounts, however obscenely rare (near hopeless! I do not care when ironmen will have a more difficult time doing struggles or if they're tradable. Thanks.
This seems somewhat unfortunate for ironmen players. I know the point of RuneScape mode is a limitation where ironmen are expected to find everything. Yes, I know we chose to limit ourselves. But if making cosmetics tradeable is the only pledge for casual regular players who can't play with these hard-core because of IRL commitments, then casual ironmen players have zero incentive to participate the seasonal leagues at all since they would have to grind mad hours to keep up with streamers such as MmorpgRS/B0aty to get the cosmetics on RuneScape.
Or will ironman mode be disabled on the leagues? Even then, if it carries over to RuneScape the cosmetics would be unobtainable on an ironman. It looks like this was not thought through IMO. I believed that the purpose of ironman style was to be forced to find everything yourself, not be
buy OSRS gold locked from makeup as you can't grind as long as someone else at a time-locked tournament. In RuneScape, each product is obtainable by an ironman, even if exceedingly improbable (e.g. druidic third era ). That will be broken by this.
