Type link 2C-1's dial is based on the Type 2B which featured a minute track made of a physically separate component from the link rest of the dial. If you look closer but look closer still the five-minute markers are extending to the link inner bezel. That is one of the necessary details to deliver the best possible balance to the whole dial.
