Buying Duplicatte Items

There should be a way for the system to ask a person if they're sure they wish to purchase an item that their character already has. I accidentally purchased a Ruin Blade 2 days ago for my NightWing character on S11 which I already have a maxed out Ruin Blade. If not a way to prevent multiple accidental purchases, is there a way to exchange my Ruin Blade for the Courage Blade I intended to purchase for the same amount of diamonds ($4998)? Thank you for your consideration of this matter.

I have to ask the devs about an exchange, I was going to do it last night, unfortunately I got side tracked chasing players for urgent information.....so it will be monday before I can ask
