the game uses a generic system. I have hit for the maximum mount skill damage on NPCs.

The mount damage is going to hit you harder if your defense system is not as high as the opponents. When a player is controlling their character in a fight, its often NOT being used effectively.... as players tend to try and overwhelm their opponents with brute force....and that is why a lot of players are failing against NPCs and bots
