Looking across the top of her drink Tranquillity stared at the rest of the tavern, looking out for anyone who could help her..... Then she saw him the one with the sad grey eyes sitting in the corner, almost as if hypnotised she found herself unable to break eye contact, it was as if he was judging her, searching for something, everything went fuzzy and out of focus it was as if they were the only two in the room all the hustle and bustle of the busy tavern just ceased. the next thing she remembers is waking, it is morning and she is back in her room above the tavern she sits up gingerly checking herself over, then on the bedside table she sees a single rose
