If you read Jack's initial coverage of link the movement from link earlier this month, you'll note that Oris opted to make the investment into the Caliber 400 with the hopes of link solving problems rather than simply to have the ability to offer a more costly in-house movement (not to mention the marketing flex that comes with such an announcement).

Now, I'll admit, link I was a bit worried as I walked through Rockefeller Center to Christie's for the viewing. This was something of a meet-your-heroes moment: Would the watch disappoint? Would it be as cool as I wanted it to be? How did it sound? I'm happy to report, that after spending about 10 minutes handling and photographing link the watches, my expectations were met or exceeded. I won't spend the link next 20 years working through this one with a therapist. Phew.
