One of the things that makes this new display so interesting though is that it doesn't change instantaneously. It actually takes 2.5 seconds for the numerals to change, supposedly creating a nep gucci smooth, beautiful animation in the process. The other no-brainer for me is getting this watch on a mesh bracelet. The rubber is definitely more Repliki Zegarków Swatch, if you want to get picky about it, but the mesh bracelets that come on the Classic are so damn comfortable that I wish every watch could be worn on one. They’re paper thin and infinitely adjustable, so there's zero excuse to not find it enjoyable to wear. Plus, paired with a transparent case and a silver-tone dial you get a monochromatic effect that's very much my thing.An evolution of the 69370 that adds a day to the date display, this is a column-wheel chronograph movement that shares some base architecture with the ETA 7750 but is entirely produced in-house, and benefits from IWC’s legendary chronograph know-how.Though some would describe this dial configuration as a reverse panda, its two silver sub-registers elevate it to that next level. Unlike other chronographs with silver accents, the paint used on the Top Time's dial has a quite a strong metallic flake effect to it that really shines under natural lighting.
