The release back in 2019 represented an aesthetic shift to a more refined version of the Santos meant to differentiate itself falsos audemars-piguet Relojes from the sportier Gordon Gekko-style power watch we've all come to love over the years. The result is a thinner, more elegant design with narrow numerals that stretch towards the ends of the dial.As a total unit – case, movement, bracelet, etc. – the Triumph wears beautifully on wrist. It's thin, nicely balanced, and only ever shiny in small doses (when the sun catches a polished edge). The bracelet, like all I've experienced from Monta, is excellent and an easy cut above what you'll commonly find at this price point, with single-sided screwed links, solid end links, and even tool-less micro-adjust built into the milled steel clasp.
