Launched to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Submariner the green bezel was meant to reflect the green Rolex has long used in its watch boxes and marketing material. Nicknamed after the link famous green crooner link Kermit the Frog the 16610LV proved green would be popular enough for Rolex link to bring back a ceramic version in 2020.
