The modern Santos sits very comfortably as one of Cartier's most successful link designs in the current catalog. Perhaps it's a touch link more wearable than the Octo Finissimo and it's a little more within budget too at link 32000 though if we're talking solid gold watches then budget sort of feels arbitrary.
